Nebraska License Requirements

  • The applicant must be at least 19 years of age.
  • The applicant must have a high school diploma or GED and fulfilling one of two educational options.
  • If the applicant does not have two active years of full time salesperson experience, or the part-time equivalent of this, then 180 hours (6 courses) of approved pre-license education is required.
  • If the applicant has met the experience requirement of two years, then 120 hours (4 courses) of approved pre-license education is required.
  • An investigation is made by the Commission to determine the applicant’s level of actual activity
